_wsb_134x192_MTFaceJoin us April 28 for this month’s EcoSalon Free Film Screening! This month we’re examining the healthcare system with Money Talks: Profits Before Patient Safety, by Holly Mosher and Cathallen Slatter-Moschkau. Following the screening, filmmaker Holly Mosher will host a Q&A with the audience.

Money Talks: Profits Before Patient Safety explores the ethical and societal implications of the marketing practices of the pharmaceutical industry, and how these practices relate to consumers, physicians, research, the FDA and Capitol Hill. Featuring interviews with key opinion leaders from major universities, investigative journalists, medical professionals, former pharmaceutical sales reps and others, these experts frankly discuss how pharmaceutical companies push drugs to doctors, influence medical research, and put all of our health at risk. The film is especially pertinent now, when changing new legislation is changing the American healthcare landscape.

Screening includes free vegan hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

RSVP to EcoSalon@greenlifestyles.org.
