Sarah Al-Mulla  
In addition to contributing music to various music projects, as well as student films, Sarah Al-Mulla is one of our official composers/musicians for the Green Lifestyle Film Festival, GLTV and our EcoSalon film Series.

Sarah’s experimental instrumental composition was featured as background music for a spoken word piece titled “The Magic Hand,” written by Stephen John Kalinich, and recited by actor Stacy Keach. This piece earned itself a place on the ballot for a Grammy award nomination (2011).

Her most recent project Halimede, debut album release, titled C/O a Conscience is an album that was released on iTunes and has been receiving very favourable responses.

Jeffrey playing saxophone_closeJeffrey Hoover

Jeffrey Hoover is a recognized and award-winning composer of new classical music, as well as being a writer of new jazz and music for film and video. He also combines his original paintings with his musical compositions. You can learn more about his personal creative work by visiting his website.

Originally from the “Middle Coast,” Jeffrey has performed in the United States, Europe, and Russia. His experience has included performing both classical music and jazz, playing in combos, bands, orchestras, and touring. He is the saxophonist for the Baltimore-based jazz quintet HiLo5.

Having taught and worked as an arts administrator for thirty years, Hoover’s present position is Associate Professor and Director of Integrated Arts at the University of Baltimore, teaching people how to work effectively within arts organizations.
