Soften Your Skin by Going Sweet

honey The Beginner’s Recipe for natural skin care from your kitchen.

You don’t have to look much further than your kitchen to help the environment. Utilizing products you can find at home for a cleaner beauty regimen is more than a cheaper way to enjoy yourself; it is relaxing, rewarding and fun! You can even get products from your own garden if you would like to grow an abundance of natural beauty and food for yourself and those you love. Beauty methods such as this connect us to the simplicity of ancient beauty, but it also keeps our skin pure from chemicals and helps to support an eco friendly value.

Natural beauty doesn’t have to be just for garden enthusiasts, let’s start simple.

2 tsp lemon juice

2 ½ tbsp honey

Mix together in a bowl for a sticky yet lemony fresh consistency.

Massage onto skin for 3 minutes, yes some might drip into your mouth, it is going to taste delicious. The massaging is important to invigorate the skin and work the ingredients. It is recommended that face masks stay on about 20 minutes and then clean with a WARM wet towel. I recommend music while you allow the honey lemon goodness to do its thing. This is focus, this is easy meditation for inner beauty.

See, you can do this! The honey is a natural antibacterial, it is gentle and brings in moisture. Honey and most of the ingredients I write about are good for the skin as well as eating! Just be sure to remember that while honey is an excellent natural food it does contain sugar. Lemon juice is acidic which makes it a light exfoliant and skin lightner.

You have used your mind, body, sense of smell, taste, touch and more to enjoy this natural beauty recipe. Please take that happiness you brought yourself today and share it with the world in your own special way with your own special talents.
